Quartzite

Quartzite is a natural stone formed from metamorphized sandstone, resulting in a great array of distinctive colors and styles in a product that is uniquely hard and heat-resistant. Quartzite is often characterized by wavy vein patterns, depth of color, and in some cases translucence. This stone is dense and resistant to heat, scratches, and stains but also contains natural fissures that increase the difficulty of fabrication. Since each block and subsequent slab of quartzite is distinctive, we advise customers to visit one of our local distributors to hand-select their own slabs; this way you

can be sure that your unique slabs are exactly like you imagined. It is our policy with all natural stone to have customers place a hold no more than 1-2 weeks before template; the hold should always include one additional matching slab in case additional quartzite is needed.
