Granite
Granite is formed from underground magma, making it a strong and heat-resistant natural stone. It is sourced from quarries all over the world and no two slabs are exactly like, as colors vary depending upon the percentage of specific minerals like quartz, feldspar, and mica that are present in the environment while the stone forms. Granite exhibits nature’s richness and grandeur, enhancing any setting; this stone has been a classic design choice for many years thanks to its durability and many distinctive styles. This is a functional and beautiful choice for kitchens, bathrooms and shower surrounds, outdoor surfaces, and fireplaces, as well as aesthetic commercial spaces like reception desks and coffee bars. Granite will last virtually forever with minimal maintenance; as it is a natural stone it is partially porous, so a spray-on sealant should be reapplied once water begins to be absorbed rather than beading on the surface of the slab. This stone offers an incredible resistance to heat and scratches. Colors can range from neutral white, gray, brown, and black to splashes of gold, blue, green, or red. Since each block and subsequent slab of granite is distinctive, we advise customers to visit one of our local distributors to hand-select their own slabs; this way you can be sure that your unique slabs are exactly like you imagined. It is our policy with all natural stone to have customers place a hold no more than 1-2 weeks before template; the hold should always include one additional matching slab in case additional granite is needed.
